Today we start with some finger drills, to shift the focus from external back to internal. We then review the 4 core principles of HoloMovement



  1. Circular Intent


2. Yin Yang

  • Internal vs External projection of energy

  • World watching you vs You watch the world


3. Reduce Internal Resistance


4. Resonance

  • Qi as the reflection of body’s resonance level


Momentum Circulation Model


a. Circulation Pathways


  • kinetic chains form loops when they are long enough

  • increase accessible pathways

  • improve coherence between all pathways for Resonance


b. Circulation Complexity

  • macro level

  • joints ability to dissociate from each other


c. Circulation Density

  • micro level

  • increase spirals inside the circulation pathways


d. Circulation Steering

  • ability to recycle momentum around while reaching body boundaries

  • utilise all 3 planes to avoid linear motion


These are the 4 training directions of HoloMovement.


We also tried to provide solutions for some philosophical problems, like nature of TIME.


Spiral Split Squat


  • continuous tension

  • forget about repetitions

  • boundary of before and after fades out…


Finally we used rope flow to once again illustrate the importance of perspective, underhand/overhand/clockwise/anticlockwise….do they exisit? Yes…and No.


We will play around with more drills tomorrow to fell more about the principles and the momentum circulation model. See you all.
